Industrial/rock supergroup Primitive Race has signed with prominent label Metropolis Records with plans to release the long awaited debut album, titled Long in the Tooth. Featuring a “versus EP” format with Raymond Watts of PIG and KMFDM, the album will be available in multiple formats on June 19.
Primitive Race was first launched in 2013 by bassist and Lords of Acid manager Chris Kniker, featuring appearances by the likes of Erie Loch (Blownload, Exageist), Graham Crabb (Pop Will Eat Itself), and Mark Gemini Thwaite (Gary Numan, Peter Murphy, Tricky). Other eminent musicians contributing to the project include Prong’s Tommy Victor, Praga Khan of Lords of Acid, renowned producer Dave “Rave” Ogilvie, Josh Bradford of Stayte and Simple Shelter, and others.
