Cubanate to release EP of new material, featuring remixes by Rhys Fulber and Drownd
 
Cubanate has long been celebrated for the band’s blend of industrial, techno, and heavy metal guitars, creating a singular sound that has endured in the scene long after the duo initially ceased activity in 1998. For the latest music video off the Icelandic electro/post-punk trio’s latest album, Kælan Mikla is giving title track “Nótt Eftir Nótt” a double-premiere via horror publication Rue Morgue in the Americas and Post-Punk in Europe. Rosetta Stone returns after nearly two decades with new album, single, and video

Tool unveils first new material in 13 years
 
Tool debuted two songs from the progressive/metal band’s as yet unnamed album on May 5 at Jacksonville, FL’s Welcome to Rockville Festival, nearly 13 years to the day after the release of the last album, 10,000 Days.
