Japanese rock band Vamps has announced a six date fall 2016 North American headline tour with special guest Citizen Zero, whose current single, “Go (Let Me Save You)” is number 23 on the rock charts. The tour comes on the heels of several sold out Tokyo dates with In This Moment and Apocalyptica and revisits several cities Vamps played supporting 2015’s tour with Sixx:A.M. and Apocalyptica.
Vamps features Hyde of L’Arc-en-Ciel and K.A.Z of Oblivion Dust. The group recently released two new singles – “Inside of Me,” featuring Chris Motionless from Motionless in White, and “Rise or Die,” which was co-written with Emigrate and Rammstein guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe. Both singles were written and recorded earlier this year in Los Angeles with Grammy nominated producer Howard Benson. Hyde says that he “truly enjoyed writing and recording these new songs.” He describes “Inside of Me” as exploring “themes of the forbidden and abstinence” and “Rise or Die” as “a very catchy rock song that gets the audience pumped up.”
Vamps is currently working on the follow up to 2015’s Bloodsuckers. Plans for more U.S. dates in support of the upcoming album are in the works for spring 2017. Tickets for the fall tour are available now, while both singles are available via Spinefarm Records on iTunes, Apple Music, and Spotify.
