UCNX announces remix/cover albumElectro/industrial group UCNX has announced a new album, Replicator, to feature remixes of songs from the 2011 album Generation Damaged, as well as cover songs featuring several of the duo’s influences. The album will be released via DSBP Records on December 28. Having released the Run Your Body single in 2009, which fused Nitzer Ebb’s “Let Your Body Learn” with Iron Maiden’s “Run to the Hills,” UCNX covers industrial luminaries like MINISTRY, Nine Inch Nails, and Leæther Strip, heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne, and ’80s pop/rock act Tears for Fears. Among the remix artists featured on Replicator are Society Burning, Aesthetische, Digicore, and Audiowar.
The album comes features in a standard CD version as well as a deluxe edition, which includes additional bonus tracks and a signed poster.
As a teaser and free download from the album, UCNX has released the cover medley of Nine Inch Nails’ “Now I’m Nothing/Terrible Lie,” which can be downloaded via the UCNX SoundCloud.
