Daniel B. PROTHÈSE - CHZWaaR+ZMe+aaLHaving released the first full-length album under his solo moniker in 2016, Front 242 founding member Daniel Bressanutti – a.k.a. Daniel B. PROTHÈSE – has announced the project’s new album, titled CHZWaaR+ZMe+aaL. The album represent’s the artist’s effort to “sound less like the ‘schlager gothic’ it has sometimes become,” and pursuing a more rhythmic and less experimental style for this new release, CHZWaaR+ZMe+aaL “is a mix of new and old formulas,” emphasizing minimal industrial sequences and the rough bass lines of EBM. CHZWaaR+ZMe+aaL will be available in multiple formats, including a clear transparent vinyl edition limited to 300 copies, a deluxe double-CD edition containing an exclusive bonus disc, as well as standard CD. As well, a tape of Daniel B. PROTHÈSE by Wool-E will be issued simultaneously and limited to 111 copies; each medium – CD, vinyl, and tape – contains different tracks chosen to best match the playback conditions. CHZWaaR+ZMe+aaL is now available for pre-order via Bandcamp, and Storming the Base.
Daniel B. PROTHÈSE vs. Edwin Vanvinckenroye - 99.9In addition, Daniel B. PROTHÈSE will also be releasing 99.9, a collaborative effort with vocalist/violinist Edwin Vanvinckenroye (Troissoeur). Blending elements of ambient, neo-classical, folk, and electronic, 99.9 presents the musical freedom without constraints that drives Daniel B. PROTHÈSE, offering a dynamic tonal range between Daniel B.’s electronic sound design and Vanvinckenroye’s acoustic energy. 99.9 can be pre-ordered now via Bandcamp and Storming the Base. Both albums are due to be released via Alfa Matrix on February 16, 2018.

This is very exciting. Daniel B. has always been such a driving force in the electronic/dance/industrial scene, this beams with potential.
