Tim Muddiman and The Strange to release second singleTim Muddiman and The Strange is set to release the band’s second single, titled “Rolling Stones,” on August 28 via Gunstreet Records; this follows the band’s first single and music video, “Wildwood Stone,” released earlier this year on May 4. Muddiman, best known as a member of Pop Will Eat Itself and Gary Numan’s band, is also an established producer, remixer, and session musician. In addition, the “Rolling Stones” music video was directed and produced by Muddiman with assistant director Neil Shelby Long, with assistance from Adam Fitch and Incline Media, who collaborated with Muddiman on the “Wildwood Stone” video; the song itself was co-produced with Ade Fenton, a fellow associate and creative partner of Gary Numan.
Muddiman will be performing as a member of Gary Numan’s band in a series of three residency shows in Los Angeles this October; he will not be joining Pop Will Eat Itself during the band’s U.S. tour dates, including Chicago’s ColdWaves IV festival, taking place on September 25-26 and featuring Front Line Assembly, Godflesh, Lead into Gold, Cocksure, and more.
