The Dossier releases new videoNew York electro-pop duo The Dossier has unveiled a new video for the track “Give Me Your Name,” off the impending album Strange Arrangements. The video, directed by William Murray, was filmed around New York City and various Dossier performances. Strange Arrangements, which takes its title from a lyric in “Give Me Your Name,” is set for release in the Fall, though no official release date has been announced. “The album title’s got a few different connotations,” says Peter Riley. “It’s a snatch of lyric from ‘Give Me Your Name’, but it’s also a nod to ABC’s tune ‘The Look of Love’, from which it was humbly borrowed–thank you, Martin Fry–and it most certainly references our fish-out-of-water but liberated feeling at throwing away our own map.” Michael Parkin expands on the album’s focus: “We’re pop junkies, at the end of the day, so no matter how far we may have pushed the production in one direction or another, the songs themselves are always the bedrock.”
