The Clay People launches crowdsourcing campaign for re-releaseColdwave group The Clay People in an effort to re-release the 1997 album Stone-Ten Stitches has launched an IndieGoGo campaign for aid. The re-release will include the original 10 tracks, a re-recording of “A Strange Day,” an updated mystery track, and remixes by 16volt, Society Burning, Stiff Valentine, and Deadliner. Contributors will receive the album, various merchandise, and more. The campaign will also fund The Clay People’s creation of a music video for “A Strange Day” with the participation of photographer Cheryl Fair. The re-recording of “A Strange Day” will include performances from Dan Dinsmore (OWL, The Clay People), Walter Flakus (Stabbing Westward), and Eliot Engleman (Acumen Nation, Iron Lung Corp.), to be produced by TCP original producer George Hagageorge. The campaign ends June 14 with plans to release the redux edition of Stone-Ten Stiches in September.
