Industrial metal act Static-X returns to the tour circuit with their Noise Revolution 2012 tour, beginning on July 15 in El Paso, TX. This marks Static-X’s first tour since 2009.
“I had a great time over the past few years doing my Pighammer album and solo tours, but it’s time to get Static-X back on the road,” says band founder Wayne Static. “I can’t wait to tear it up with some old school Evil Disco!”
Original bassist Tony Campos – now a member of Prong and Ministry – will not be joining the band on tour, stating, “I’m proud of my years with Static X, and want to see the name of the band stay alive and well. I hope that all of our fans will continue to support both Wayne and I in our individual endeavors.”
Static-X will be joined by newcomer industrial rock act Davey Suicide and electronic metal act 9 Electric. The first leg of the tour will span the second half of July, crossing the southern United States.
