Skinny Puppy reissues album, announces 2014 tour of North AmericaMetropolis Records is releasing a reissue of Skinny Puppy’s The Greater Wrong of the Right on January 28, 2014, almost a full decade after the album’s original release. Heralded as the band’s comeback after an eight year absence following 1996’s The Process and the death of longtime member Dwayne Goettel, The Greater Wrong of the Right presented the new lineup of Nivek Ogre, cEvin Key, and Mark Walk, with guest appearances by Wayne Static, Tool’s Danny Carey, IDM artist Otto Von Schirach, and Collide’s Statik, Dre Robinson, and CyrusRex among others. The album will be reissued in both CD and vinyl format, remastered and pressed as heavy weight vinyl with a digital download card.
Skinny Puppy has also announced the Shapes for ArmS tour of North America, beginning on January 24 in Santa Ana, CA. Opening acts on the tour include Army of the Universe, Baal, and DJMRex. Tour dates can be found via Skinny Puppy’s Facebook page.
