Prude signs to Metropolis, announces debut album release datePrude – the mutant/machine rock collective featuring Chemlab’s Jared Louche and Marc Plastic, Howie Beno, Phil DiSiena of Infocollapse, and Caustic’s Matt Fanale – has announced the band’s debut album, titled The Dark Age of Consent, will be released worldwide via Metropolis Records. The album will be released on September 23 worldwide, with plans to launch a Kickstarter campaign to fund a limited vinyl release. The Dark Age of Consent was originally to be released independently on July 4 prior to the band’s deal with Metropolis. Says the members of Prude, “Metropolis has made great strides in the last half decade to release a wi(l)der variety of styles, and we’re ecstatic to join the ranks of everyone from Electric Six to Vaniish to IAMX, and of course all our electronic compatriots.”
Prude has already released three tracks via the group’s Bandcamp page, and is also featured on Disc 1 of Remission, the newly released third volume of the Electronic Saviors benefit compilation series.
