Pioneering dark electro act Project Pitchfork has announced a new album to celebrate the band’s 25th anniversary. Look Up, I’m Down There blends the sounds and inspirations of the group’s two-and-a-half decades into a sumptuous whole that transcends its individual components. Peter Spilles has delved deeply into himself to craft lyrics exploring the vastness of the human experience seen through the eyes of a single individual, with an underlying message of hope.
The album will also be available as part of an signed and numbered limited edition of 2,525, which also contains an 80 page art book, second CD, and certificate of authenticity. The elaborate book was designed by by cult artwork designer SeasonZero and contains the album lyrics, mysterious visual worlds by Silent View, and a short story by fantasy author Björn Springorum based on the album concept in English and the original German. The second CD contains five remixes by Peter Spilles and an exclusive song.
Both versions have a November 4 release date and are available for pre-order now at Storming the Base.
