Nine Inch Nails reveals new track, new tourNine Inch Nails has released its newest track “Came Back Haunted” via iTunes and SoundCloud. The track comes from NIN’s forthcoming album, titled Hesitation Marks, to be released on September 3. “Came Back Haunted” was leaked one day early by Los Angeles radio station KROQ, as well as Brazilian site Bcharts.com and other sites. “I love it,” gushed KROQ music director, Lisa Worden. “It’s the return of Nine Inch Nails that fans have been waiting for. If this song is any indication, the new album is going to be amazing.” Many compare the sound of “Came Back Haunted” to NIN’s Pretty Hate Machine, while others argue that the sound is more influenced by Reznor’s pure-electronic direction with How to Destroy Angels. NIN has also announced plans for the Tension 2013 North American tour, beginning September 28 in St. Paul, MN, and running through November. Supporting acts for the tour will alternate to include Explosions in the Sky, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and others in select cities.
