New collaboration between Cracknation and Glitch Mode announces debut albumVampyre Anvil – the new project from Cracknation’s Jason Novak and Glitch Mode’s Sean Payne – has announced the release of Tetsuo, the project’s debut album and the first co-release from the two labels, on March 25. The album will be available in digital formats via iTunes, Bandcamp, and the Cracknation webstore, as well as a limited CD run. In addition, the album features a bonus download featuring alternate mixes of the entire album. Previews can be heard via the Cracknation website. Tetsuo was recorded in late 2015 at Cracknation Studios in Chicago and marks the latest collaboration between Payne and Novak, described by the pair as “somewhat of a concept album,” and adding “a more emotional layer to the man vs. machine mythos explored so many times in the industrial genre, adding an oft overlooked element of frailty amidst the crushing electronics.”
