FiXT signs The Qemists for release of new albumUK hybrid electro/rock band The Qemists has signed with FiXT for the North American release of the latest album, Warrior Sound. This marks the band’s first album since the addition of rapper/MC Bruno Balanta and former Collisions vocalist Olly Simmons, and features collaborations with Japanese metal act Crossfaith, UK grime MC Ghetts, Charlie Rhymes, and Hacktivist. The album will be released on March 4 via FiXT, with plans to join Enter Shikari on a European tour throughout the month, and supporting Crossfaith on an upcoming tour of the UK. Pre-orders for Warrior Sound can be found via iTunes and the FiXT webstore.
Compared to The Prodigy and Pendulum for the group’s blend of rock and drum & bass, The Qemists has shared the stage with the likes of KoRn and Skindred, along with appearances at such festivals as Download, Breakout, and Butserfest. The band has played to audiences of over half-a-million people in Poland, scored a number one album in Poland, and has had music featured in the worldwide trailer for Terminator Genisys and the soundtrack for Jumper. The leadoff single from Warrior Sound, “Run You” reached #6 on the Kerrang! rock chart.
