Now available for pre-order is I. Dawn, the first EP from American Murder Song, the latest production from Terrance Zdunich, creator and star of Repo! The Genetic Opera and The Devil’s Carnival. A collection of original murder ballads, written by and startring Zdunich and co-composer Saar Hendelman, and taking place in 1816 America, American Murder Song features a hybrid of music, stop motion animation, and moving portraits for a unique audio/visual experience that distinguishes itself from Zdunich’s past productions. I. Dawn, set for release on May 10 and produced by Scotty Morris (Big Bad Voodoo Daddy), can be purchased via the American Murder Song website, available as a pay-what-you-want item with proceeds going towards funding the next EP and upcoming tour, tentatively to take place in Fall of 2016. To celebrate the EP’s release, American Murder Song will feature its debut performance at the 2016 Steampunk World’s Fair in Piscataway, NJ on Friday, May 13.
