En Esch to released second solo album, launches PledgeMusic campaignEn Esch (ex-KMFDM, Pigface, Slick Idiot) is currently working on a new solo record, his second overall. To fund the creation and manufacture of the album, he has created a PledgeMusic campaign, which includes access to exclusive items designed and handmade by En Esch himself. While no title has yet been revealed, the album will feature a number of special guests, including guitarist and longtime band mate Günter Schulz, with additional guests to be announced as the album progresses. Of the album, En Esch says, “Great new, fresh, heavy electronic and guitar driven material is waiting for you to discover before anyone else does!” This will mark En Esch’s first solo outing since the 1993 release of Cheesy, while his last release was the collaborative with F.M. Einheit and Mona Mur, which released its album Terre Haute in 2013.
The campaign ends on August 27. In addition, En Esch has announced that each additional 10% after reacahing 100% will be donated to two animal protection organizations in Berlin. “Berlin is, unfortunately, the capital of laboratory animals testings in the EU, and this has to stop,” states En Esch. Links to the two organizations are featured on the campaign website.
En Esch also plans to tour for the album, looking to perform in the US, Canada, and later in Europe.
