DOYLE signs with Megadeth bassist's label, announces new album and tour
 
Doyle Wolfgang Von FrankensteinRenowned horror/punk guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein has signed with Megadeth bassist David Ellefson’s EMP label, and is set to release a second LP from his current project, DOYLE. DOYLE’s current lineup consists of Cancerslug vocalist Alex “Wolfman” Story, bassist Brandon Strate, and drummer Brandon Pertzbornen. The group continues in the tradition of Von Frankenstein’s previous work, bringing together punk, metal, and horror with a theatrical bent. The album, As We Die will be published in standard and several limited edition vinyl variants. The signing also includes distribution for all releases on Von Frankenstein’s label Monsterman Records, with a reissue of DOYLE’s Abominator and an LP from LA industrial/metal group Dead Girls Corp. already announced and several more releases for 2017 in the works. Of the signing, Ellefson states, “We’re extremely excited to be able to not only push out this new DOYLE record, which is amazing, but all the killer Monsterman titles via EMP.” Von Frankenstein further comments, “We wanted a bigger push and EMP has a lot of exciting things happening in 2017 that will do that for us,” while stating of his relationship with Ellefson, “He has been a good friend of mine for 20+ years, and has never done me wrong, and in this business, that’s unheard of.”
Doyle kicks off a European tour in support of As We Die on February 1, 2017 in Birmingham, UK.
