With the band’s sixth full-length studio album on the horizon, alt./industrial/metal act Dope has released the music video for the title track to Blood Money Part 1. Slated for release on October 28 via Entertainment One Music, and available for pre-order via the band’s website and iTunes, Blood Money Part 1 is the band’s first release of new material since 2009’s No Regrets. “It’s been a long time coming,” states band leader Edsel Dope, “and I’m very happy with how the new album came out.” He continues, “I’m super excited for fans to hear the entire record and for us to get out there on tour and feed off of each other’s energy.” Earlier this year, Dope held a successful crowdfunding campaign to fund the Revolver Magazine sponsored U.S. leg of the Die Mother Fucker Die tour, featuring the classic lineup of Edsel Dope, Acey Slade, Virus, and Racci Shay. The tour kicks off on September 13 in San Francisco, continuing to West Hollywood’s Whiskey A Go Go on October 30; additional tour dates can be found on the Dope website.
“Blood Money” marks the third single from the album, following the 2014 release of “Drug Music” and “Selfish.”
