David Lynch collaborates with Nine Inch Nails on "Came Back Haunted" videoNine Inch Nails launched the “Came Back Haunted” music video through VEVO on June 28, directed by legendary surrealist director David Lynch. This marks the second time Reznor and Lynch have worked together, after Reznor produced the soundtrack to Lynch’s 1997 film Lost Highway. The band recently released photos of the two on-set through Rolling Stone, taken by regular collaborator Rob Sheridan. Reznor told Rolling Stone in a 1997 cover story: “I’m a huge David Lynch fan – we used to hold up Nine Inch Nails shows just so we could watch the latest Twin Peaks. So we set up a weekend for him to come to my place in New Orleans. At first, it was like the most high-pressure situation ever. It was literally one minute, ‘Hi, I’m David Lynch,’ and he’s cooler than I even imagined he would be. Three minutes later, he’s saying: ‘Well, let’s go in the studio and get started.'” This official music video follows an “audio-video” released on June 5 in tandem with the track release. The song “Came Back Haunted” is the first single from the upcoming album Hesitation Marks, due out September 3 through Columbia Records.
