CHANT to open for Die Krupps, release Lou Reed cover trackTribal/industrial project CHANT will accompany industrial/rock legends Die Krupps on the Machinists of Joy tour through Europe this February. CHANT will open for Die Krupps throughout the tour, and CHANT’s Bradley Bills will perform as drummer for Die Krupps for the duration of the tour. In additional news, CHANT will release its cover of the classic Lou Reed/Velvet Underground track “Waiting for the Man” on January 16. Recorded during the same Chris Telkes recording sessions of tracks “Universal,” “Low,” and drums for the upcoming Angelspit record, CHANT’s “Waiting for the Man” is a testament to Reed’s original, with a sound that is entirely CHANT’s own. Keeping with the spirit of the previous two releases, CHANT will release this cover track completely free through its official website.
