Caustic announces June mini-tour, new album and T-shirtIndustrial act Caustic has announced a mini-tour for the month of June, beginning in Milwaukee on June 12. Joining the band on the tour will be Velvet Acid Christ, Mindless Faith, and Stoneburner, with special appearances by Rodney Anonymous of Dead Milkmen, Ego Likenss, and The Gothsicles. “I haven’t played 2/3s of these cities in six years,” according to Caustic’s Matt Fanale, “it’s going to be fucking fun as fucking fun can fucking be.”
The new Caustic album – titled simply Industrial Music, having been successfully funded within four hours via Kickstarter – is in the final mixing phase, with pre-orders for the “Unpopular Music for Unpopular People” T-shirts now available for the mini-tour until May 21. This marks Caustic’s first new album since 2012’s The Man Who Couldn’t Stop. In addition, Lotharia, the debut from Beauty Queen Autopsy – Fanale’s project with Unwoman’s Erike Mulkey – has officially gone to press.
