Electro/metal band Beauty in the Suffering has posted a 90 second video trailer to highlight the group’s upcoming releases for 2016. Among the tracks previewed in the trailer is a cover of The Outfield’s “Your Love,” to be released on February 9, with the band’s debut EP to follow on February 16. The brainchild of producer DieTrich Thrall, whose credits include Marazene and touring with Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein in 2015, the trailer and debut EP are part of the band’s ongoing “Phase 1” campaign, which also includes original artwork and several horror themed music videos. Of the band, Thrall states, “From every aspect of this project – music, lyrics, album artwork, and video – I wanted to try and create a multimedia experience that would shine a light from different angles on different core aspects of concepts that were running around in my head despite all of the financial roadblocks most independent bands face.” Of his association with the band, engineer and guest musician Provo Provenzano states that Thrall “brought in some amazing studio musicians to help round out a unique and catchy collection of gritty and electronic based songs. I can’t wait to get them out there for the world to hear!” American Head Charge drummer Chris Emery and ex-Dope drummer Angel Bartolotta also contributed to several of the band’s tracks.
