Kevin Haskins – drummer and founding member of gothic/post-punk band Bauhaus – has teamed with the design team of Artist in Residence’s Jeff Anderson and KIHL Studio’s Donny Phillips and Kaylee Carrington for a curated coffee table book chronicling the band’s history. Encompassing visuals from the band’s 1979 inception in Northampton, UK thru to the legendary 2005 headlining performance at The Coachella Music Festival, this book features a collection of local newspaper articles, backstage passes, ticket stubs, pins, hand written lyrics, and much more, all shared by Haskins out of his personal collection. Also included with the book will be original stories from throughout the band’s revered career. The book serves as “a fitting tribute and celebration of the legacy created by this revolutionary group.” The book is slated for release in Fall of 2016.
Subsequent to Bauhaus’ initial disbanding in 1984, Haskins went on to become a member of goth/rock group Tones on Tail and alt./rock group Love and Rockets, both featuring Bauhaus guitarist Daniel Ash, and the latter featuring Bauhaus bassist (and Haskins’ brother) David J.
