Acey Slade will be embarking on a UK tour in April to perform songs spanning his entire career both as a solo artist and as a member of such renowned rock acts as Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Dope, and Murderdolls. “Playing hits and talking shit; I promise to make you laugh out loud and sing even louder,” Slade says of the tour, beginning on April 17 in Glasgow until April 23 in Sheffield. He also states, “I’m going to play songs from the first Dope album, up to and including Valentines for Sick Minds,” his 2015 solo album successfully funded via PledgeMusic. Tour dates can be found via the artist’s website.
In addition, Slade is slated to rejoin his Dope band mates for the Die Mother Fucker Die reunion tour, following completion of that band’s current crowdfunding campaign; Slade performed in Dope during the band’s November, 2015 appearances in Russia, captured on the band’s first live album, Live from Moscow, Russia, available for pre-order via the campaign.
Slade has also been a contributing member of such acts as Rachel Lorin and the Blackstraps, Wednesday 13, TrashLight Vision, and his own Acey Slade & the Dark Party.
