Psy Virus offers free download of experimental noise that shows some potential.

Mother Russia's own Psy Virus is a project by musician Regedit, offering his latest release, Waves of Sound Freedom, as a free download on Absetzer records. He calls the music a combination of rhythmic noise and digital hardcore. His end result is a pretty solid record of noise music, infused with interesting samples and some solid guitar work. The "Extremely Long Intro Track" starts the album with a psychedelic tone, mixing ambient background loops and bizarre samples. Then the record goes into goes into a journey of power noise and IDM that while not very original, is done very well. The production of the EP is done well and you can feel the depth of the music. The record can be repetitive in parts, which is to be expected from a noise record, but he makes up for it with strong use of samples and guitar work throughout the album. For any fan of power noise and IDM, this is an EP worth downloading, and the fact that it's free makes it a bargain at twice the price.
