The Story of Our Lives is a special 10-track EP by The Echoing Green that has been a long time in the making and features several new versions of the title song, including a wonderful extended track featuring the piano skills of Jason Smith (Leiahdorus), plus remixes by Syrian, Virtual Server and others. There are also a couple new songs to enjoy and a stellar cover version of Wolfsheim's hit "The Sparrows and the Nightingales," coproduced by electronic dance band Sheltershed. The song "The Story Of Our Lives" became somewhat of an anthem in the synthpop underground, and certainly a favorite of The Echoing Green's popular album The Winter of Our Discontent.
