Peter Murphy postpones three week residency in San Francisco due to visa complications
 
Iconic goth and alt. rock artist Peter Murphy had originally been scheduled for a three week residency at San Francisco’s The Chapel, which was to begin on January 23; however, after a series of delays, Murphy and The Chapel have now confirmed that the residency has been postponed until June. This delay is at the instruction of Murphy to The Chapel’s management after facing difficulty with the acquisitino of his visa paperwork, citing “a simple matter of the administrative visa process for many foreign applications between Turkey and USA.” [..]

Two of the Belgian electronic scene's most prominent figures join forces in Lederman / De Meyer
 
One of the electronic music scene’s most celebrated figures, vocalist Jean-Luc De Meyer has joined forces with talented musician Jean-Marc Lederman for a new project, Lederman / De Meyer, announcing the band’s debut album Eleven Grinding Songs via livecast video on Facebook on February 24. “All these songs are about human beings,” states De Meyer in the video, “their fears, their hopes, their dark side, their bright side; if you compare that to a landscape, that would be a landscape obscure by clouds, through which the sun regularly and brilliantly shines.” [..]
